| Hola peoples. Id like to see who likes Geldings or Stallions. Yes Stallions may provide you with covering fees, BUT geldings can train faster and compete, and geldings USUALLY win buy that depends. Please post below "Gelding" or "Stallion". | |

| I have to vote stallion also. I don't have trouble most of the time training to 100BLUP and I always seem to make more in stud fees than in comps. | |

| Yeah, even if you do train it to 100 BLUP, then you can give out TONS of coverings AND participate in lessons! | |

| LOL I've only castrated 2 of my howrses since the start of the game! My first one, because I didn't know what it meant, and then I ruined him, and another one because I didn't want to breed him, I wanted to concentrate on his training. | |

| i think that i have given up on males... can't get thier skill up, and so I can't offer any coverings. From now on, I will sell all the colts I give birth to.. | |

| Stallions! I've ridden a ton of geldings in real life but only one stallion and the stallion was by far the most amazing ride. If you ever get chance to ride a stallion, do it!! They're getting a bad reputation recently and more are being castrated which is terrible! For the game though, still stallions! I've not done many competitions but surely covering fees are much higher than the competition winnings? Maybe Howrse should invent a reversal procedure like in real life so that we can have both. But thats what the mares are for really I always sell colts and keep fillys when I breed them as they're so much more useful! | |

| I prefer stallions, because no matter how valuable a gelding becomes, you can't get any stock from him and therefore can't reproduce and carry on his lines and awesome skills.
Much better to train a stallion to the same amount of skills (Takes longer) get him to 100BLUP (again, longer, but worth it) and breed, and be able to reproduce his awesome talent. | |

| In real lofe, geldings can be trained in half the time, but don't have much of the same look as the stally. | |
